Today was no exception. I have a beautiful, handcrafted cushion to photograph, and would really love to take it outside to perch gloriously amongst the lavender. But it hasn't stopped drizzling all day. Typical Cornish murk - dank and gloomy, blowy and grey.
So what to do? I could photograph inside, but again an 18th Century cottage isn't flooded with natural light. I have been in the bedrooms, the lounge and the dining room, and cannot get the vibrant colours to look, well, vibrant.
This coin purse looked glorious nestled amongst the emerging buds of lavender, and garnered so much interest that I am sure the sale was down to the photo...
So I guess the cushion will have to wait... surely the sun will come out soon?
